Cheap Flights Paris
Paris is famed as being one of the most romantic cities in the
world, and what better way to treat a loved one than with a trip
utilising the great cheap Paris flight deals available at cheap
flights? There is so much to see, hear, experience and eat! If
you’re looking for a culinary treat, you really must visit
the La Bouteille d'Or restaurant, just across from Notre Dame.
If you are one for the museums, it is advisable that you get
the Carte Musées (available at most major metro stations
and museums). They vary from a one-day to five-day pass. Although
you may not get your money's worth if you’re only looking
to hit a few museums, but you do get to bypass the long cues that
other tourists line up in. In most cases you can quite simply
show your card at the entrance and go in. In others there is a
special, much shorter line for holders of the Carte Musées.
You can’t go to Paris without a trip to take in the views
of the Eiffel Tower. There is a spectacular view to be had by
the Ecole Militaire, at the southwest end of the tower across
the lawn, alternatively standing alongside the Place de la Concorde
so you get a view of the tour from across the river. Absolutely
breathe taking!
There are hundreds upon hundreds of hotels to choose from when
buying separately from your cheap Paris flights, but similar bargains
to be found. The Golden Tulip Cayre Hotel; is supposed to be very
close to all major attractions.
On the subject of getting around, travelling on the metro at
night is okay if you are sure to remember the running times, and
don't look too much like a tourist. If you are unfamiliar with
Paris, It is not recommended that you stay in the Latin Quarter,
it is not so open. If you’re looking for a nice, clean hotel,
the Hotel Leveque (on Rue Cler) is a recommended spot for accommodation
A day trip to Giverny where you can visit Monet's house and gardens
is a must. It's about an hour outside of Paris and a very enjoyable
thing to do.... standing on the bridge, overlooking the water
lily ponds. It's like popping into a painting. Also, when you
visit Sacre Coeur in Paris, ask directions for Place du Tertre.
It's almost directly behind Sacre Coeur but overlooked by those
who don’t know of its existence. It's a great little square
with lots of artists painting portraits and cute little shops.
Paris' national museums are multi-purpose, user-friendly machines
shaped by the public interest and state funds. Serving as forums
for lectures, art films, concerts, and the occasional play, the
museums here -especially the Louvre, Orsay and Beaubourg - broadcast
Paris, past and present.
It is well worth a note that students, teachers, along with senior
citizens are eligible for cheap admissions at the majority of
Paris’ museums.
As mentioned, the Museum Pass (Carte Musées et Monuments)
provides a very good way to see a lot for a cheap price (somewhere
else to save money other than your cheap Paris flights!). It offers
immediate entry to 65 museums and monuments without waiting. All
you do is to present your card, and then you're in. The majority
of major museums are included: the Centre Pompidou, Musee du Louvre,
Musee d'Orsay, Crypt of Notre Dame Cluny, and many more. You can
purchase a pass from the museums, Tourist Office headquarters
at 127 avenue des Champs-Elysées and all Métro kiosks.
You are also likely to find Travel agencies in the U.S. and Europe
selling the pass. The prices vary depending on whether you choose
the one-day, three days or five day accordingly.
